The Foundation Program for Engineering Officer Cadets at MMA is designed for students who aspire to join the Engineering Officer Cadet Program but do not yet meet the full entry requirements. This preparatory course provides the academic grounding and skill development needed to progress confidently into the main cadet programme.

Through a focused curriculum, students strengthen their knowledge in core subjects such as mathematics, science, and English, while also being introduced to the fundamentals of maritime studies. In addition, the programme builds essential discipline, study habits, and personal development skills required for success in a demanding seafaring career.
